Don’t be alarmed, it isn’t a phishing website - Spamhaus is refreshing its look

Dear Björn,

To avoid any concerns of having landed on a phishing site, we are advising you that we’re updating our website and associated portals.

The new sites are due to go live on Monday 11th May at 9am UTC, but as you know with go-lives the best laid plans can go awry, so please don’t hold us to that exact time!

The following sites are being updated:

  • Spamhaus Technology Websitespamhaustech.com. This has undergone a significant re-design. All our products and datasets from email blocklists to network protection with DNS Firewall threat feeds can be found on one website.
  • Customer Portal - https://portal.spamhaustech.com/auth/signin - all customers of both Spamhaus and Deteque can now log in through this single portal to manage their accounts. The site has undergone some minor styling changes; however, all the functionality remains the same. Your log-in credentials also remain the same.
  • Passive DNS Web Interface: This site has been re-styled, and moved from https://pdns.deteque.com to https://pdns.spamhaustech.com, however all the search functionality and ease of access to Passive DNS data remains the same.
  • Technical Documentation: The site containing all our technical information has undergone some minor modifications. Most noticeably different is the availability of all technical documents on https://docs.spamhaustech.com, including Passive DNS, DNS Firewall Threat Feeds and Border Gateway Protocol Feeds, which have moved from https://docs.deteque.com.

We hope these changes don’t cause you any inconvenience. If you have any questions, please contact us at datafeed-accounts@spamteq.com.

In the meantime, you can find a copy of our latest Botnet Update here. This report shows that Botnet command and controllers (C&Cs) dropped in the first quarter of this year, however it’s not all good news (it never is, is it?)

Thank you for your continued support.

Kind regards

The Spamhaus Team
